As a LONG TIME Player of EA Hockey and having bought and played the very first one as well as your most recent addition(18) I have seen your game make HUGE leaps since that first year! I Love the game and especially your CREATE Modes!
If I may be so bold and suggest some wish items for 2019? These I believe would make EA Hockey even better in my humble opinion.In one word I can describe the overall context of my wish list and that is.........MORE VARIETY and CHOICES(per the Creation part of your game).....That is my favorite thing about EA is your creation zones and alot of things I wished for years ago you ended up bringing out on your own(Create a Team,Create A Uniform,etc.)and it is much appreciated! I would like to suggest More of everything
1.ALOT more Uniform choices(Jerseys,Pants,Socks)It would be great if you could actually get list of very creative original designs for them),more skates,and especially ALOT MORE Logos and emblems for the Created Teams
2.ALOT more original Goalie Masks(Not from the AHL and the other leagues)but the ones like you had in 2008 ONLY ALOT more original designs(No disrespect intended BUT I dont like to use goalie masks that someone else has)
3.More generic names cause I like to make alot of created players and I dont like to have to use some real hockey players name like Kessel when my player is named Bartkowski.(Smoky,Hotshot,Killer....names like that)
4.The ability to install created players in your franchise mode while its in its 6th season or 12 season as opposed to making them all Rookies the same year(The 1st year)
5.A better color wheel with options for GOLD and SILVER and BRONZE(Not yellow or gray,but actually Gold color and silver)
6.I also would like to suggest more Stadium ideas and unique looking ones(The 2 you have for the AHL are more unique and sweet looking than any you have for the NHL
7.More Fan movement and maybe show the fans interacting more and walking around going to the concession stand as well as the team store
8.IT would be really neat to see you gather Pix for every possible created team and show them like you do right before a game(Like the skyline of Houston or Say Cleveland,etc.)
Maybe even add the number of possible created players to 700?!
Overall though you have created a GREAT Game that I really enjoy! THX for that and I would appreciate it if someone could give me feedback or let me know what they think of these ideas.

- I can understand that making huge changes isn’t the easiest thing to do, same goes with pleasing everyone who loves these games in this community. But aside from huge changes, there are many small ones that would further better the game for years to come if implemented correctly.
1. FROSTBITE needs to be behind NHL 19.
the graphics haven’t been bad per se, just aged. the jump to frostbite could be a big plus for this franchise that has been built on fans that enjoy the realistic look of the game.
2. Better skating mechanics.
I think i speak for everyone when i say one of the most frustrating things when trying to keep the puck in the offensive zone is your current skater spinning uncontrollably after moving the joystick from one side to the other without rotating. *cringe* also, the seemless puck pickups have been.. well.. anything but seemless. players lose it in their feet, ignore it next to them and glide effortlessly across the ice in a non-human luke fashion to gain possession. it’s utterly frustrating to say the least.
3. Lastly, Goal reactions.
For a century goals in the nhl have been miraculous, stunning, and sometimes jaw dropping. In that sense when something like that happens in game, i expect the reaction to reflect it.That means the crowd getting louder than an empty netter, the commentary acting in disbelief, the teammates all grouping around the goal scorer and the goalie looking like he has no clue what he could’ve done... (5 man hug celly needs to brought back for each goal as well as this has been an every-goal thing for a century as well). Aside from every game things, the playoff atmosphere after winning a championship is SILENCE. you get approximately 2 minutes in real time of the ending animation after winning a cup in franchise with the crowd sounds.. after that silence.. it’s awful.
All together, negativity aside, NHL has been one of my, if not the #1, favorite game series of all time. I’ve enjoyed the game each year since NHL ‘95. But after a few years of the same style game.. i think it may be time for a makeup release.

-A lifelong fan.I agree with you (AJDIPerri96) on everything you said, but especially the goal celebrations. In FIFA, in most cases, 5-7 players at a time converge to celebrate with the goal scorer and it is one of the most rewarding feelings you can have in a sports game. Why have we not been able to have this feature in any of the NHL editions, since NHL '11?? It really makes no sense. I love the NHL series for the realistic game play it attempts to portray, but the immersive atmosphere goes off like a light switch when a goal is scored. I cringe every time I see the other 3 players skate away like nothing happened, when a goal is scored. Sure, we might get a stick lift up in the air to acknowledge the goal, but that is it. Who cares about a cut scene showing the mascot dancing around. You never see that in a real life game. It would be so amazing to see goal reactions based on the importance of the goal as well. The celebrations should vary when a goal is scored while up 4-0 versus scoring a tie-breaker late in the 3rd period. The crowd should have improved IQ as well and react differently based on the situation and score of the game. Again, something that is a part of an authentic NHL atmosphere.
Another improvement I would like to see, are the board battles. Most games are won or lost against the boards. It would be great to see the defense pinching in to keep the puck in the offensive zone late in the game when a goal is desperately needed. This would include seeing players mashing against the boards to keep the puck in the opposing zone on power plays, etc. This is something you see all of the time during the course of an NHL game. The puck gets dumped into the corners and battles begin. It factors into the strategy many teams with size or speed use in the NHL and it would be great to see that developed more for the NHL series.
It would also be great to see genuine reactions from opposing teams when you crash the net or jab at their goalie. Again, it's another aspect of the game you see all of the time in real life, but it is surprisingly absent in the NHL series. Hopefully we start to see some of these issues addressed. It would really add to the experience and replay value of the game. Fingers crossed for NHL '19 to make some serious strides this year.
Is anyone actually getting these messages and actually looking at the suggestions and possibly considering some,cause I would also like to say that I would also like to see a better more discernible FACE Generator as well.Thx

There is no need for that kind of post.
Don't distract them with face generators and extra gear please. AT FIRST they should focus on renewing game modes like be a pro and franchise mode. Be a pro is horrible. It's like season mode with the option of just playing a single player..
I also forgot to mention that I would like to see ALOT more diverse faces and expressions from the players and conversations between them as well as the Goalies reacting in more ways.Maybe a more in depth created player personality affects and traits?Thx again
