Do you have a previous save you can load instead? If not, I'm afraid your save may be corrupt. It's possible deleting the personal saved data for NHL could resolve this, but I also can't guarantee your save won't be lost. If you want to try this, highlight the NHL tile and hit the Menu button. It's the one to the right of the guide button. Then, go to Manage game & add-ons. Next, go to Saved data and delete the file with your gamertag on it. Delete it only from your console and not everywhere. When you connect again, you should download the cloud save, but I can't guarantee this is going to work every time so please keep that in mind as it could cost you to permanently lose the save.
