NHL 20 Input Lag/Gameplay Lag

@EA_Aljo You say the same thing to everyone dealing with this input lag. It’s ruins the game. We’ve all done the resets, ports etc and yet nothing helps. I have a wired connection and 950 dL and 150 upload and play only my same friend. He’s in AZ and I’m in NY and I always have the issues and he almost never does. Why does your company refuse to acknowledge this and give each person the same stock responses like your surprised to hear they are having a problem and it must be some error on their end? Even though multiple people have already confirmed all your suggestions don’t fix the issue. 

I would truly appreciate a response as a paying customer who doesn’t ever get to play clean games because your severs are a massive issue.

We're not aware of any issues with the servers. There are a ton of different things that can cause lag and disconnects that are outside our control. When the vast majority of people are playing without issue, it means we need to troubleshoot those that are having trouble and try to find out what's causing the problem.

What mode(s) are you and your friend playing? Are you only lagging when you're playing with them?

@EA_Aljo strictly online Versus. And yes only lagging with him but he’s wired in too. Is it simply trying to play across the country that’s the issue? I have no input lag in any of games

Yes. That would be the issue. You're not on our servers since Online Versus uses a peer to peer connection as one of you are the host and acting as the server. With the 2 of you being a couple thousand miles apart, it's not unusual there would be some lag.

also our game is completely smooth, there’s no game lag, it’s just button input lag

Dedicated servers are used in WoC and HUT. Online Draft games in HUT are on P2P servers though. Is the only time you experience input lag when you're playing this friend?

I'm sure the issue with the distance between you both. That's not uncommon for peer to peer connections over long distances.
