NHL 21 - hint for EA

We, the community of NHL20, know how the game works. There are plenty of evidence that game algorithm dictates a scenario for the game. How it works you can read in 4-5 threads here. EA, Aljo and the other guy, saying it not real and it's a myth. System giving boost to rookies, to even the game with better players is NOT WORKING properly.

How it works? If you are a medium player and you collect cards 95-99 in your team, you can get additional boost by setting a low rated players like 87-90 (way lower overall than most of your team) to get a game boost. How it is visible in game? Opponents team, for example 96-99 player team, is moving very slowly, don't skate as fast as the mixed team, goalies are getting way better (sometimes the mix is done with goalies - I played with a guy 94-99 team and Bishop 82 in the net).

Playing in such scenario destroys fun for one side. What's the point of getting packs for $ if you can get lower overall team and win anyway with better players? 🙌 I just cannot "cheat" this way (mess up with my 80's lines, I don't feel good about it) and really struggle to play with these kind of players, as some people stated on one of FB groups - in UE most of these players are either Fins or Swedes. They're just spoiling the fun for us trying to get better skill and play even. They admit taking advantage of this algorithm thing and send messages like "hahaha nooooob, learn to play". Do we all need that? by responding in angry manner they report us to PS Network and we got bans for inappropriate language. Do you see how it is going?

Some of your workers told us to play as defensive as you can with guy like that - seriously what's the point of playing then??? You're trying to make game as real as possible, but have you ever watched hockey? plus by that you admit there's something going on with game AI

EA, here's job for you. I know we live in times where you please the minorities with advantages. We, medium skill players (i bet pros as well), DON'T NEED any boost from game apart from the momentum we build with countless hours of playing. Please make this boosting lower overall teams STOP. We're all tired of writing to you with same problems, you see us, we see your denial. I'm not asking you to create a spectacular game, people would recall in next years (oh yes, you could do that and be legandary hahaha, instead of spoiling your time reading such things here). We all know it's not gonna happen. Maybe you can get only this advantaging thing stop in next release - we'd see that as a GAME IMPROVEMENT

There's nothing better that EVEN game on same overall rate. Futhermore, you can get a big satisfaction even after a loss with a skilled opponent. This is what hockey is about and this is what hockey gaming should be about. It's not. Really. It's that simple.

You messed up NHL20 with this major flaw. Don't interupt us in NHL21, just let us play!

PS I'm maybe not realistic, maybe it's dreaming day time.

This is absolutely, wholeheartedly and completely false. There is no boost based on having a lower-rated player in your lineup.

I'm not on the development team, but we work closely with them. We have said for many years that there is no ice tilt, catch up logic, boosting, etc. It does not exist in any way, shape or form.

That's what I thought. I've seen you post this 100 times or more. I get your point of you, but I don't agree with it. And so are other players.
It may be a side effect thing you don't even have under control or probably, after so many signals from the community, you clearly ignore.

It's not a side effect. It simply does not exist. The game does not pick and choose the winner and then make the game play out accordingly. That's not the kind of game we would want to play ourselves as well. It would mean you weren't in control of the outcome of games and could just put down your controller to let it play out however the computer wants. It's absolutely not true though. The outcome of games is decided by the inputs from the humans holding the controllers, the ratings of the players on the ice and the strategies being used.

Yes. There are many topics on this over the years. No matter how many times we say it's not true, people still believe it is. The thing is, if people stopped blaming the game for the outcome of their games and looked at what they can do to improve their own play instead, they'd probably see a lot more games end in their favor 😉

"Stop blaming the game for the outcome of their games" seems like an easy excuse not to get into this trouble field from our point of view.
As I investigated all of the posting from last few months here, you have clearly an explanation of the problem. It occurs when there's significant overall difference in line rates. I noticed that as well - especially when I play with opponents with almost the same rates as mine, but either 4 D line is way weaker than the rest, or goalie is way worse than mine (mine is 97 Kuemper, but he seemed to be doing way worse than 91 Anderson on the other end) 🙂 😬 My team just seem a lot slower than way worse lines of the opponent. When I play with a very similar team it's almost equal in speed, chances, save %, everything seems to be in my hand when I play and the most important thing THE GAME IS FUN. I dig it even when I lose. It happens every time. Regularly. Coincidence? 🤔

Yes. It's a coincidence. There is nothing built into the game that is giving you all your wins by scripting the outcome.

Nahh... From what you're posting, you don't have this under control. It's way too easy to experience not to believe that sth is wrong with it. It just ruins the fun and spoils the time in the game. I talked to some winning players and they admit they take advantage of this bug. Stating these are "easy games" with sets of lines this way. How they do it? Check it out: they are 1-2div players, starting from the bottom with 2nd or even 3rd team with 87-91 lines (plus 99 Kuzi or Kopitar, and one or two 92-95 players). If 96-99 opponent sets any kind of strategy different from as defensive as it can be (everything to left) it is a "highway" to win and most of the times ends of with disconnection. This is exactly what they say, laughing hard. They also add something about your company, but it wouldn't be appreciated here, for sure 😃 I'd surely add their nicknames here, but they problably don't want to be blocked, haha.
Are you even passing on these information to the development team? 😃
