nhl 21 share play region locked?

My brother and i have played nhl for years and now its saying share play is region locked on ps4. We are both in the US and i cant find any way to fix it. does anyone have a clue? we both own the game and are just confused since the servers are still up.

    We don't have any help for share play, but it seems you both own the game. Can you try play by launching the game without share play enabled?
