NHL 22 Controller Vibration Issue

I’m having the same exact problems. Vibrations don’t work in any mode but the controller vibrates fine in other games. It says I have the controller vibrations on within the game but nothing happens....

    I checked some solution for this and it worked.

    I turned my PS4 off, I pluged my controller to the PS4 with USB cable, then I turned it on by PS button and then I ran the NHL. Next, I made sure the vibrations in Accessability > Controller Accessability (Main Menu) are ON and then I saved the Gameplay Preset by giving it a name. Then I made sure (in More > Settings > Controller Settings) the vibrations are ON. And finally, I went to Play Now and ran a game against CPU to check if this works. IT IS! You can unplug the USB cable.

    I would say I can enjoy the game with vibrations again (Versus and EASHL mode), but they are noticeably weak. Three times weaker than in NHL 21. My controller barely vibrates when I hit an opponent.

    I hope it's helpful for everyone. And I hope the EA team will fix the vibrations soon and will make them stronger like they were in previous NHL games, because they are really weak.

    Same issue here with the vibration. Played couch co-op online with my friend. Other controller had vibration and other didn’t. Tried even third and fouth controller but still only the main controller had vibrations. All settings was ok in game and console. Please look into this issue since it is really frustrating to play without vibrations..

      Can you try plugging in your controllers and see if that makes a difference? I had someone else report this took care of the issue.

    I’ve just gotten used to exiting the game and soft resetting my console every time I play. Great bug

    Did you find a fix for this yet? It’s been a month and I’m still soft resetting my Xbox every time I want to play NHL22. Every other game works fine even other EA games. Getting to the point where I don’t even want to play the game anymore which sucks because I spent a lot of money on this broken product. I even bought a new controller to see if it was maybe that but nope, just bad development because we’re all going to buy 23’ anyway right?

      Great hockey - wanna play - but without vibration is terrible

      Same as on Fifa 20/21 on SX - nothing

      On PC I have 22 ... sometimes works sometimes not

      They want only our money and seems don't listen us ☹️

    Its weird that this issue is known since October so 3 months ago and there still isn’t a fix to it. How come? I always have to restart my console (xbox series s) in order to get vibrations again if I close the game. it’s annoying. Please for the sake of this franchise work in it and let the community know as to why there hasn’t been a fix yet and if you are even able to solve this problem.

      Same feelings here. Yeatsrday wanna play & spend some time at evening lovely season & franchise...

      ...start - forgot about restarting my XSX and see again many ghosts and no vibro and stopped upset

      Continue playing NBA2K21 without any problem 🙂

      I have NHL21 but want play new one

    So uhhhhh it’s been about a year any updates on when you guys are gonna figure out how to make the game not recognize 1-2 ghost controllers and actually make this game work properly orrrr??

    I just bought nhl 23 and still no vibration. Still working on it or what bud?

    How do you address this as a problem you’re looking into and then make an entire new game (nhl 23) that has the same problem still? Ghost controllers and no vibration still. Ridiculous for a triple A title from one of the biggest devs in the world

      @tylerwpd As I wrote before:
      Start game - stop it
      Restart console
      Start again in any mode
      Disconnect Elite2 during loading
      And u will see empty screen
      After connect it and wow - works
      And then leave it on Quick Resume (sometimes its crashes)
      Funny huh - terrible yes, but 23-rd is very good btw 🤣
