Why EA? It's been a long time since the last NHL game was released to the PC. I thought with the return of the Madden franchise to PC, the NHL franchise would also return this year to the PC.
EA, listen to your consumers and do not ignore the PC gaming market.

Yeah why does EA go through the trouble of making it's own PC platform (Origin) but NOT go through the trouble of putting all it's games there?
Why not do what Microsoft did? for example State of Decay is playable on PC and Xbox, and that platform is horrible but it works! I think Origin has a lot of potencial but it needs a lot of work for it to become the EA version of Steam.
Add more games to the platform new as old. Origin has been out for years and still the amount of games is so small! The platform is slow and clumsy, and it feels very empty!
EA needs to start show their PC fans some loyalty like they did back in the day! It was all getting a PC release. Now 10-15 years later our technology is better than ever but we see less and less PC releases, i want my want my Hockey back on PC!
I sold my PS4 a couple of years ago to buy a PC! The only thing i can't do on PC that i can do on PS4/ Xbox is that i can play the new NHL games, but other than that there is absolutely no reason for me to own a PS4, when the PC has so much more to offer and is way more powerful!
If you would only listen and open your minds for a new market! We are thristy for Hockey on PC!
Nhl is already the lowest rated and least selling sports game for EA, makes sense there won't be NHL on PC. Takes too long to work out the controls and i'm sure it won't look much better than console

You also have to realize that the biggest NHL market is on the PC. Most eastern European countries and northwestern European countries(a huge market sector that is not being covered) are PC gamers. In fact, it makes way too much sense to have a PC port. A lot of these developers are way too old school to realize that video game piracy is not what it used to be for the simple fact that most people that download pirated games are kids and most kids that grew up in the video game era are adults now(like myself at 34 years old) and pay money to support the game developers, everywhere, even in Russia. And saying that "it takes tool long to figure out controls" or port a game to PC in this generation of consoles is laughable. I mean, EA came out with the NFL PC port and that is definitely not a game that was necessary for the PC market because most players that game are console players(like 90% of the potential Madden players already own a console). There is absolutely no chance they would not get a return on their investment if they ported a game to the PC, none. A PC port this generation would cost at most what $2-3 million(and that's worst case with like 20 programmers working full time on just that for a year plus marketing costs). You would only have to sell about 100,000 copies to cover that after taxes/advertisement. Do you really think they can't sell 500,000 copies of NHL 19 on PC? Easily.
