Why EA? It's been a long time since the last NHL game was released to the PC. I thought with the return of the Madden franchise to PC, the NHL franchise would also return this year to the PC.
EA, listen to your consumers and do not ignore the PC gaming market.
What's sad is that, at this point I would even be ok with a simple port to PC and we can't even get that after now 10 years. 10 years with no PC hockey game. Not even a port.
To add onto this, EA and Microsoft already have an agreement with the EA vault/subscription service (forget the name off hand). I'm unsure if this is a negative or a positive for the implication of play anywhere but I suspect the reason it has not come to PC is due to EA taking a "only in a zero risk environment will we put the resources in to make this happen". This is why I believe many people want it to go to Frostbite, again I’m unsure of the realities of this, but it has been insinuated that frostbite makes porting to PC easier.
I been waiting for the NHL to return also back to the PC, but for now ill keep modding NHL 09 with updates because ill never just buy a console, when i have a good gaming PC

It would be slightly less insulting if anyone who worked at EA made any effort to explain why they're ignoring one of the biggest gaming platforms in the history of the world.
