Weird. I’m also using elite 2 controllers, my issue is that they won’t sync when entering lobbies. Seems to be a reoccurring issue with a few games at this time. Still lose their minds whenever there’s a hit though! BRRRRRRRRR
Hey, all.
Shared it with the team but can you all confirm you've checked the controller has the latest firmware update under your Xbox console settings and this is happening when you're not streaming using the Xbox Companion?
We want to distinguish whether it's happening both with and without the app, otherwise it's important details to know if it's only happening when associated with that app.
Thank you.

Can confirm firmware is up to date. However you bring up a good point with the streaming, that does seem to be a factor. Has happened only a few times when NOT streaming, all of which were with Elite 2 controllers. When streaming however it was with all controller types. Any idea of a workaround? Or ETA of a patch?

Thank you for the follow ups. We've sent this post over to the team and they've got it tracked. When we hear any updates we'll post them here. No ETA at the moment, I'm afraid.
- Metalslasher244 years agoNew Rookie@EA_Blueberry Yes I have the latest firmware for my Elite Series 2 controller and don't use the companion app for streaming, like there is absolutely zero vibration whats so ever, will have to see if it's still happening come Thursday night/Friday morning when the full release is out.

So I was playing hut earlier today and out of nowhere there was vibration feedback from my controller, might be fixed for the time being. I will do some further tests later tonight to see if it's still there or not.

Ps4 all mode, no vibration
- 4 years ago@stefou2972 Same problem here for me and all my EASHL buddies.
PS4
Every mode, all the time since beginning.
I'm feeling some vibrations though but they are really really slight. If in NHL 21 it the feel for vibration was 10/10 now it's only 1/10... really annoying, and hard to get a good feeling for the game as you don't feel anything when you shoot or get hit...

I noticed the same problem on the Series S during the trial. I use my Xbox controller plugged in. For some reason the game thought there was two controllers connected and mine was controller 2 (blue player marker) and while vibration was enabled, there was no feedback.
I'm also usually an official Xbox Series controller that came with the console.

My elite series 2 is up to date on firmware and I am not using the companion app. My vibration does not work when playing NHL 22 on my Xbox Series X. I have vibration turned on and have tried re-syncing the controller to no avail. It is very distracting and takes away the feel of the game. Please come out with a fix soon
