EA Sport are making NCAA game for American Football and there is rumours about NCAA March Madness too.

So its not unlikely that NCAA hockey would be a league in NHL games in the future. NHL 24 maybe already...

@MV75  Yeah I know that, EA Sports made NCAA Football game, but if I remember correct team names are real but not player names not are real.

In the old NCCA it was like that.

But the rules for students in NCAA have changed, so they can use real names now in the games. 🙂

@MV75  It's good new, if EA Sports is allowed to use players real names. In this case NCAA in the NHL 23 or NHL 24 would be good. EA Sports add to the NHL 22 game IIHF licence andit was surprise. Who know if EA Sport surprise us again and add NCAA to the NHL 23. But also 3 on 3 game mode where can play with normal ice hockey rules what used in NHL All Stars game or on overtime would be nice see in the game and possibility create own 3 vs 3 teams where limit is forexample 12 player / team (2 goalie and 11 skaters). Okey in the game is "NHL Threes" but we need 3 on 3 game mode where can play with normal ice hockey rules.

I have a problem.....

I´m always so hyped before EA start to show whats coming to the next game... I never learn to hold down my expectations. 

But I do feel that NHL 23 should take a big leap. I just hope that the people at EA have the same goal....

There will always be bugs and things that doesn´t work, and some of them is OK, its hard to make a good game to work in fast transitions.

Even if EA haven´t showed us that they have their best team working on things that mathers... (Everything that is not HUT)....

But, to implement more content, more features, more customisation options is NOT hard when you make a game. 

Anyone who said it is, should try NBA2k for example....

So, yes, my problem is that in my mind NHL 23 is going to be better than NHL 22, how much better? I´m not sure...

But nevertheless... I´m still enjoying NHL 22 and playing it every week. (My secret is that I dont play online, those players must be soooo bored now) 😉

It would be nice to get a USHLand NCAA license where you could get the teams and schools and then give all the players no names just give them

positions and numbers for names but make them FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE like the old NCAA football games

Good idea, if EA doesnt have the time or wanting to put effort in collecting the data for every player in leagues that are missing right now it would be great to at least have the license to the Club names, logos and competitions.

The player names can be random but fully customizabled with the possibility to even change the names.

I think it should be so for every non real players in the game, you should be able to change names etc for them. (Especially in Franchise mode for generated players)

Yup! I used to love putting the time in every July back when I was a teenager to name every single player in the NCAA football games (no, I didn’t get out much 😂)
