Offline Creators Wishlist

Last year for NHL 22 they had the trailer out 19 august. And there was not a single news before it.

So sadly there is probably not any news about NHL 23 before august....

Okey, interesting see how much EA Sports will add to NHL23 new things player- and team creation. Or whether EA Sports is focused only development online game modes. Hopefully EA Sports understand some players also like create players and teams and use them when they played. For example in NHL Threes you can't use teams which you made. NHL Threes is good game mode but, 3x3 hockey with real rules would be nice. Also would be good if players could made self own 3x3 teams where limit is forexample 15 players / team.

Well, after hearing about the Madden Beta regarding offline modes I´m scared that FIFA and NHL will be not as good for offline modes as we want...

But I do hope that EA proves me wrong and suprise us with at least a lot of customization options.....

can we also get real 3 seasons in CHL please before drafting into NHL I want all leagues and jerseys and rinks and trophy winners too?

also, bring back the AHL too and other leagues too, so if we struggle in NHL we get sent down to AHL if we struggle in AHL we get sent down to CHL too.

Next jerseys would be nice see in NHL 23 team creation

- Seattle Kraken
- Hartford Whalers
- Reverse Retro jerseys

Would be awesome if we can use IIHF jerseys in team creation.

Do you create lot of players and teams to game.?

Interesting that, EA Sport not have added Seattle Kraken jersey, Hartford Whalers retro jersey and reverse retro jerseys to NHL 22. Another interesting attention is why they have add ECHL logos to team creation but not AHL logos. Hopefully EA Sports will add AHL logos and ECHL league badge to the NHL22 team creation. In 2K NBA games you can nowdays add own logos to the game , hopefully this come possible in future NHL video games.

Interesting see , what EA Sports is doing with Arizona Coyotes temporary home arena. Will EA Sports add ASU Multi-Purpose Arena to the game realistic or not.

In NHL 23 would be great see next arenas on authentic
- all NHL arenas
- all arenas which are host NHL Global Series or NHL Premier games.
- all AHL arenas

If they not will add to game new arenas, fully new arena creating program would be great add to the game. Would nice make for created teams own arena and not to choose from the crowd of ten arenas which have at the ready in NHL 22 creation zone.

Yes, I always create a lot on every NHL game.

On NHL 22 I did the KHL and created 600 players with realistic faces and with realistic settings on the new shoot-pass bias for every player and +90 goalies with real looking equipment that they use or have used.

It have all 24 KHL teams and 7 former KHL teams.

I did it on Xbox series X, and shared  the roster file on the roster sharing.

I have wondered that too, why there is NHL and ECHL logos available when you create a team but not AHL or any of the other logos that is in the game.

The problem with new arenas are probably license and cost. But I would like it be that if the team you use have a generic arena you should be able to change the arena using the options you have under creating a team. (And they could update the options with more things, we have had the same choices for 3 games now?).

Okay, I like also create players and teams to the game. If we got the same face creator program what EA Sports use in FIFA, we could create more realistic looking players to the game. Same is also with old player - and goalie gears. For example if someone wanted create Pekka Rinne to the game, he used in the his last season the following goalie gears:
Pads: True L87

Blocker: True L87
Trapper: True L87
Goalie stick: Warrior Ritual M1

Of these goalie equipments only stick found at the NHL 22.

Hopefully EA Sports would get licence, so that they can add Atlanta Thrashers Alumni team to the NHL 23 game. Atlanta's history in NHL not have great, Atlanta played in NHL 11 season and only once in 2006-2007season Atlanta played in play offs. In Atlanta has played lot of NHL stars, like Dany Heatley, Ilya Kovalchuk, Marián Hossa, Vyacheslav Kozlov and Kari Lehtonen. Hopefully EA Sports could will add Atlanta Thrashers and their home arena Philips Arena (current name State Farm Arena) to the NHL 23.

EA Sports has developed with small steps creation possibilites in the game.
- NHL17- possibility create teams.
- NHL 20- possibility use Alumni players in team creation.

Hopefully EA Sports will add the following things in future to player- and team creation.

- Same face creator program to NHL 23, whom EA Sports use in FIFA 22. This would help us create, to more authentic looking players that we can create now.

- Should be possibility use numbers in team name. In NHL 17 this was last time possible.
- Add AHL -logos to use in team creation 
- Add more historic logos like.

- Updated list of city names.
- More player- and goalie gears. For example:
- Bauer Supreme Mach
- True L87
- True 20.1
- True 20.2
- Back to the game player- and goalie gears which they have deleted from NHL 22

-Hopefully EA Sports will add also the following league badges.

Which updates would about you most important, in the NHL 23 creation zone. About me three most important updates would be.

- Same face creator program, whom EA use in FIFA 22.

- Updated city list, for example Oslo, Riga, Gävle, Vilnius and more cities from Slovakia and Austria.

- More old and new player- and goalie gears to the game. Would be nice that we when we create players to the game, we could choice for player gears whom player has use on carreer. And possiblisity select that player not use helmet.

Extras

- Possibility use number in team creation, this help us if, we want make for example 1994 NHL All Star teams to game.

- Possibility select visor if player use Jofa helmet and possibility select face cage colour in college helmet and hybrid shield.

- EA Sports should be add to the game, NHL All Star game jersey styles and Seattle Kraken, Hartford Whalers and reverse retro jersey styles.

For me the most important changes to NHL 23 creation zone would be:

- FIFA face creator program would not be bad, but at least give us more faces and options for facial hair etc, there is a lot of things missing right now.

- Updated list of cities that are on top of this thread

- Make it possible to use (or upload) more logos when creating teams - even the ability to use letters instead of a logo

- Update the options when creating jerseys, pants, gloves, socks and goalie equipment

- The possibility to change and edit players, lines etc in the National teams selections to World Championship etc.

Extra:

- Fix the bug that when you use the second or third logo on the front of the jersey on a created team, the home crowd wears Anaheim Ducks logo instead

- Fix the bug when a created team (with full of womens) cant play a Women national team in play now mode for example

Okay, this would be great add to the creation zone in NHL 23. In 2K NBA series, you can upload own logos to the game via 2K nba website, similar opportunity would be great see in NHL 23. We could create teams to the game with real logos.

Konami's eFootball series (formerly Pro Evolution Soccer) is possible upload own logos to the game and in 2K Sports NBA series we have also possibility upload own logos to game. But interesting why EA Sports not add same possibility to their sport games.

Yes, 2K is the best regarding this. 

EA tried something like that in FIFA 11 and FIFA 12 with Creation centre, where you could create your team online and download with logos and  everything, even download teams/players that someone else have done.

Sadly they removed it, and I have never seen it more in a EA game...

But a Creation centre to NHL (or FIFA) would make it a new ballgame, so much options would open for us who plays and loves to customize the game.

I absolutly think its would be great to have the option with blank/make it possible to us to put what we want there.

The benefits with EA putting the cities in the game is that we have the announcer to actually say the name of the city.

Hopefully we get more vintage logos to NHL 23. In here is list of new logos which would be able in use team creation zone in NHL 23. Hopefully some of these logos will added to NHL 23. In addition I hope that, EA Sports will to the game also all AHL logos to creation zone. If new logos not add to game, hopefully we can self upload logos to NHL 23.

Interesting see can we create in NHL 23 russian- and belarusian players and teams. It's also interesting see will EA Sports add new russian- or belarusian players to alumni teams. Or will they remove it all russian and belarusian players from the alumni teams.

I think they will have it like it is now on NHL 22.

No Russian or Belarussian national team.

About adding new alumni players from those countries, not this year.
