Online Versus does not let you see who you play.

I am not sure if there is a setting to toggle or if this is just a terrible idea by EA but you can no longer choose teams in real time with your opponent in Online Versus Mode, but are matched based ...

Same annoyance... Out of six games, I played 2 games Montreal Canadians Vs. Montreal Canadians and 1 game Montreal Canadians Vs. Windsor Spitfire (a CHL hockey team...........).
