Penalties are too harmless

I could not understand how harmless the penalties are within NHL.

I have setup highest level of penalties, but partly you can check and hit everyone, like in an Arcade game. No Penalties come up from the referees and then you get an penalty for a soft touch through skateing. 

That's not really realistic, OK in real, sometimes the referees decisions are strange, but not as often as in this game.

Unfortunately, when you configure realistic mode, then it should be realistic. A game misconduct is nearly unimpossible, or when you get sometimes one, you are wondering why!
