Playable injuries for goalies

I have noticed when your goalie has a playable injury you have to set him in the lineup as the backup goalie but when you start playing the game it puts him in as the starter. He then post game reinjures himself for a longer period of time. Can you fix it so the AI doesn't place him in the game when he is put in the backup position? This is frustrating as you have to make a goalie change as soon as the game starts to get the playable injured goalie off the ice.
