Player Attributes Explained

Product: NHL 18
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
I want to talk about something you don't mention above: Player Attribues Explained
How accessible is the current experience? I can use parts of it
Summarize what in the product is difficult to use. There's no explanation
How is this making it more difficult? You don't know what these things do.
How can we reproduce this experience? Make explanations easy to find.

Anyone have a link to the player attribues explained? (not the nhl15-16 link either).

Don't know what strength does (is it just fighting?), Aggressiveness (how close they play the man and/or how often they check/poke check?), poise (late game and/or playoffs?), hand eye (more for than deflections?), and the awarenesses. And whatever else useful and hidden info there is on these. Thanks!

  • Strength: affects hitting power, board play and a modifier to shot power.

Aggression: affects likelihood of taking a penalty, so higher aggression increases PIM chances. Also affects how much a goalie will challenge shooters as opposed to playing deep.

Poise: Players “ mental toughness “. Like you said, ability to make clutch plays.

Hand eye: Higher hand eye means better deflections, puck pick ups and helps with dekes.

Offensive Awareness: Better offensive zone abilities, a modifier of sorts. Doesn’t equate to scoring more, just overall boosts to playmaking and pick ups.

Defensive Awareness: Modifier to defensive zone abilities like pass interceptions and tie ups.
