Powerplay glitches in Nhl 16

I've been playing EA NHL for a long time. I had 2 occurrences now, so i know it's a problem. During the game if i commit a penalty, I wind up playing short handed for the entire game. Very frustrating. Once it was on a boarding penalty, and once was a mutual 5 min major fighting penalty. Both time was playing as the Flyers. Is this a glitch? Other issue: my goalie continues to play the puck automatically in the trapezoid and causes a penalty, I've never seen that before!!!! Anyone else having these issues?
Same issue with being shorthanded after a penalty.
I try to avoid playing the puck unless the coast is clear, but I've had the CPU goalie commit three straight delay of games in that instance (and they don't get penalized, despite the whistle and signal given). I have video proof on YouTube. They don't even try to fix these glaring issues.
