PS3 - NHL 14 Rosters for Career GM Mode

So its great that they release all these updates for rosters for online play or just regular play.  But how do you do it if you want to play career mode.  Frustrates me every year that EA sets the rosters FAR too early so in the case of the Oilers who I am trying to play guys like Perron, Jonesu, Ference, etc are not on the team.  These players were all signed early in July so in blows my mind that they can't get the damn roster setup for career mode with these players.  Takes away from the playing the damn thing year after year because this same issue always exists.  

If there's a way to update the rosters for career GM mode prior to starting it I'd love to know otherwise I am seriously considering selling my game and never purchasing the NHL series again.  This issue has gone far too long and needs to be fixed if it has not.

If it can be updated then it'll be happy happy joy joy.

Please advise.

    Okay I will try to help you! In the settings mode or customization you will find a thing that says download rosters... I think this is where you can download offline rosters for GM,season mode etc. Although im not sure if its for this or if someone wanted to play with a diffferent roster.. But if you really wanted to make all the roster changes you could trade for them just like in real life and I know this would be a waste of time! Hope this helped please leave an xp if it did!

    As golfing said, you have to go into Customize, then locate the Download Rosters choice, once you've downloaded and saved the rosters then you can start a Career (GM or Live the Life or whatever) and when it says Rosters while you are setting up your new career set it to Current. You were probably using Default which has rosters from September when the Game was launched. You also have the option of choosing Draft Day Default if you want the Roster set ups from back in June.
