I merged the threads mentioning this issue to try and keep the feedback and information in one place. Can you guys read my question above and answer it? 🙂
It's during simulation of the days. In my experience, I was drafted, the game simmed for a while, I signed the contract, the game simmed some more, I received notice I was demoted to the minors (without playing any more games...not sure why), the game sims some more, and gets to somewhere between 9 Sep and 14 Sep before freezing.
I restarted the Xbox several times and would get to that same point every time.

In the meantime, why don't you guys go around the forum and see if there's any questions you know the answer of to help out other players? 🙂[EDIT]: This is an issue the devs are aware of and working on resolving (no ETA on resolution yet). In the meantime, the only option is to restart a career, and avoid getting sent to the minor leagues, which is from my understanding (based on what tobinat3r said) what triggers the bug. 🙂
There is no way to avoid it. I wasnt even able to play the pre season games. Very frustrated with the fact that your the one answering these questions but you dont have any knowledge of the game.

I'm not sure I understand your frustration. If I invite you to share your knowledge of the game and answer questions around here, it is because this is Answer HQ's first purpose, as a community-centered help platform. We invite players to share their experience and help one another out, since we know that the accumulated knowledge of our player base is much greater than anything a single advisor might ever know about the game.
This is what we're trying to do here, and we're getting a few interesting incentives from the studio for those of you that will be the most helpful.
For all the things that nobody form the community can help with (bugs and glitches), I'm here to report them to the studio, but I'll usually need a detailed step-by-step so that the QA teams can reproduce said issues. 😉
There is no staying in the NHL!!! In the 4 games I played the CHL I had 7 goals and 4 assists, drafted 2overall, sends me to the minors and freezes!
I have gotten this problem as well. And zero games show up on the calendar so I can't even sim up to a game and then play it. I just get dropped to the minors and no games ever populate the calendar.
