I'm not sure I understand your frustration. If I invite you to share your knowledge of the game and answer questions around here, it is because this is Answer HQ's first purpose, as a community-centered help platform. We invite players to share their experience and help one another out, since we know that the accumulated knowledge of our player base is much greater than anything a single advisor might ever know about the game.
This is what we're trying to do here, and we're getting a few interesting incentives from the studio for those of you that will be the most helpful.
For all the things that nobody form the community can help with (bugs and glitches), I'm here to report them to the studio, but I'll usually need a detailed step-by-step so that the QA teams can reproduce said issues. 😉
I understand that you're trying to help, but a response of "don't get sent down" is very frustrating, as the game isn't giving us (those experiencing the bug), the chance not to get sent down.
I started my Life the Life at the NHL Draft, which means I play 4 Memorial Cup games, then I head into the draft. I was drafted first overall by the Colorado Avalanche. I get signed, and the game Auto-Sims to the pre-season. About 4-5 days before the first pre-season game starts I get notified that I'm getting sent down to the minors. In previous NHL games you were guaranteed at least 1 pre-season game before getting sent down, and if that's a new thing for this year, that's fine, however I'm 18 years old getting sent to the AHL, and not back to my CHL team. This could be part of the issue. The game then auto-simulates to the day of the first pre-season game and promptly freezes.
- ApprovedI completely get your frustration, and I know that this is gonna be fixed, but there's only so much one can do in the meantime to try and avoid this. Another thing worth trying would be saving at multiple points during a Live the Life game, so that if at some point your player gets sent to the minors, you can grab an older save to move back to an earlier point in your career.
I'm pretty sure that the dev teams have nailed the source of the issue, but I'll pass on your additional feedback. 🙂 - Approved

I saved multiple times and it freezes at the same place every single time! I don't like the fact that a bunch of people from EA get paid to answer questions on the forum for a bunch of things that everyone already tried! I should be getting paid for all that because I am helping trying to fix the problem!!!!!!!!!!!
