Re: Be A Pro end of season 3 only 1 additional team is interested in obtaining you?

@SkylerJames13Forced trades needs to be put back into FM. Then I see the trade alerts happening from the AI and see players ranked in their low 80's going for 1st round picks. It really stinks EA holds onto this game because they ruin it more and more every year and it's the only NHL game we have. Why can't we upload our own artwork to be used in FM rather than using hotdogs, pizza and unicorns? You have a thousand play-by-play team names to choose from but yet we're stuck with 40 or so horrendous pre-made jersey logos year after year. What pre-made logo goes with The Blizzard or Tornados? There's no balance, just throw us a bunch of garbage against the wall and see what sticks. They don't care about FM or any other mode for that matter unless it has drops.

  • @SkylerJames13 I found a workaround for the one team (and current team) contract ending offer. It seems like the standard offer is two years. I’ve played quite a bit and never received anything larger than a two-year deal from both, my current team and the second team interested. If you win the cup, save right after the Stanley Cup celebration when you’re back at your locker alone. Try to save before you go in front of the media. If you didn’t make it to the cup, save as soon as you’re knocked out of the playoffs or as soon as your season ends (when you're at your locker). I made a “new save” and quit. Simply load that same save file via the load option within the game and go through the motions of being a free agent. If you’re not happy with the team that made you an offer, instantly quit the game (don’t back out or save again) start the game again and reload the same save. The teams change every time you load that save. I got a couple repeat teams and some teams didn’t show up at all, but I did get around 15-16 different teams interested. It's tedious but if you're looking for that specific team, this should work. Again, this should all be done when your contract is up (end of year 2) before you receive the first initial offer regardless how many in game years you've played. This won't work if you receive an offer, save and load that save because you'll just be recycling the same team over and over.

I wish I had the option to pick who I sign a contract with.
I am coming off a stanley cup win, and instantly being forced into an 8 year deal under 10m. I reload the save a million times but I am forced into signing it. I don't even get to see the conversation that i am being offered an extension.

I sim 1 day and my contract goes from expiring to max term. Like wtf
