Re: Be A Pro Infinité Stamina Bug

For me, I played HUT first and did everything available in hut - started a be a pro with medium presets no customs or sliders moved on 3/4 leaning toward full sim game style using skill stick. Basic default setting nothing moved.

This stamina/line change issue occurred from game 1 and figured it’d just change at some point - I’ve included a few photos of the menus.

the second photo showing line changes grayed out is the menu you access right before starting a game. Hope this helps out.

    @tastypotate Thanks for the info!

    When you say you played everything available in HUT, can you provide a bit more clarity?  Did you play HUT Rush both online and offline?  Did you play the first Ovechkin and Matthews challenges?  Or the ones after when the Gritty set went live?  Did you play HUT Rivals?  Did you have returning User bonus packs that you opened?

    Also, did you have NHL 20 prior to NHL 21 on your machine or saved data still from it?

    I am not asking any of these things because I think they are part of the issue yet, just trying to narrow down similar player situations.

    Has anyone experienced this issue without going into BAP first?  For example, have you seen this in Play Now, Franchise, etc. when those were your only modes or you only experienced it in those modes after it happened in BAP?

    Has anyone had this issue happen again after it was fixed when deleting  their saves including cloud saves?  And if so, did you have a shorter path (ie less modes played, less settings changed, etc.) when seeing it the second time to help us see a common trend with other players that may have run into it?

    No worries - I understand the questioning. This is the breakdown of beginning processes before encountering the bug.

    -started game for first time

    - immediately went to hut

    - opened preorder packs and packs received from owning nhl20 and beyond (I think I have down to nhl’15 on this system

    - hut rivals was the first mode I played 

    - then hut challenges EA challenges 

    - then hut rush ovi challenge first then Matthews right after 

    - traded bronze players for silver then 2 gold

    - searched auction but did not buy

    -played rivals, hut rush and challenges subsequently 

    - started be a pro 

    - created character 

    started playing and noticed the stamina/line change bug

    so I did hut pretty thoroughly until I felt I  had done everything I wanted to do for now - and was eager to check out be a pro. Since then I’ve corrected the issue via the save delete (happy it worked!) I did have to delete all saves including user profile data which made me nervous it would have deleted my hut but it’s fine. Hope you are all able to narrow down the bug soon.

    Sounds good! I’ll let you know if I encounter the issue again. Also played hut rush online only.

    Wait so has this issue just vanished? I still have it so how am I supposed to play? Is the only way to fix it deleting the save file that I have spent hours on? I have already played 2 and a half seasons of franchise mods and now I have to delete it just to fix a bug that shouldn’t have been  there in the first place??

    That's the only workaround that we know of. You can of course wait and see if a fix is released.

    @TeddyKrajeski You were playing games in franchise without the issue and then it happened mid season? From what we heard thus far, it would only happen in Franchise if you created your franchise after the issue had already flipped your lines changes to none and then you started a franchise with those base settings. Would be good to know if you have a difference experience.

    Or did you sim a lot of games and then only notice the issue later on? Just wondering how you got through 2 seasons without seeing it.

    Also, as a workaround for having your season already started, are you able to change your line change settings from within franchise as you go into a game by going to the game settings and switching the line changes from Off to Auto for the team you are controlling? Since it seems you are simming, you could do that once for when your team is home and once when they are away (since the opposition team will be greyed out and unable to be changed) and it should save from them on.

    If you change it before going in to play the game and back out and sim those games until you get one home and one away, it should still save by switching it and backing out to sim the game.

    The problem started the 17th. I created my world of chel character, my bap player, then went into franchise mode. The problem started game 1 of franchise mode. But franchise mode was not the first game mode I played. The first game mode I actually played a game in was HUT, then started bap. I noticed the glitch in bap so I moved over to franchise and the bug was there too

    The problem only occurs when playing games in franchise mode. When simming, the lines change like usual

    @TeddyKrajeski Ok thanks. So you played your 2 and a half seasons with the bug which I assume means you simmed all the games then? Or were just playing without line changes? If you try what I suggested and for one home game and one away game before simming, go in as if you are going to play and change the settings for line changes in the sub game settings menu and then back out and sim, it will fix that setting going forward if you want to actually play your franchise games on ice going forward. But you will have to do it for both a home and away game to get it back set right for both teams.
