Re: nhl 23 on pc
PC is so much superior than consoles. Not only because of the flexibility of hardware, but with Microsoft and now Playstation both bringing their console exclusives to PC, it's the more all-in-one gaming system. Minus Nintendo of course.
Essentially at this time, NHL is the only game literally left behind being consoles only. I can't think of any other game to even purchase to play with an XBOX or PS5, that I couldn't purchase for PC. Previously I wanted a PS5 so I can play NHL and their exclusives like Spider-Man. But Spider-Man is now out on PC, with Miles Morales coming out in the fall.
I still can't understand how it's like this in 2022. It's been over a decade since the last NHL game was on PC, and game platforms has helped streamlined accessibility and online authentication. NHL existed on PC when piracy was easier.
It's never had a proper chance with a distribution platform like Origin/Steam. EA needs to man up and take the chance because it's a whole different world from now and the early 2000s.
