That is intended. If the right stick is moved, you go into a glide.

    @EA_Aljo Seems to be a controller issue then. I just bought a new controller, so I will reply here again if I'm still having the issue with the new one. Thanks for your help.

    @EA_Aljo another update - I am using one of my older controllers right now and haven't seen the issue yet since playing for about 30 minutes. The controllers seems to definitely have been the problem.
