Are you playing with an external drive plugged in and/or are you using a wireless connection? These have been known to cause input issues.
Could be a combo of your region or the PS5 player base itself being low enough it matches you with people far away
No drives plugged in. I play on a wired connection. My highest ping was 29 and usually 19. I've been keeping an eye on my ping in all my games. I'm from Toronto so I don't think where I am is the issue.

Try updating your DNS settings with the steps here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.
I've already opened the ports. I've even gone as far as port forwarding. It's not my internet either I have Bell fibe 1G. I've even downloaded the trial on my first gen Xbox one and it runs better than the PS5 version. What's the next step?

I tried what you suggested, and still the same issue. I even went to test just a online match and it's actually WORSE and virtually unplayable. I also went back to play it on Xbox one again and I still think the PS5 version doesn't compare when it comes to online matches. The regular quick play runs great on PS5.
Community ManagerAre you playing on a wired or wireless connection? Also, does your router support QoS (Quality of Service)? If so, make sure it's enabled.
I play on a wired connection, I've already said this. There's nothing wrong with my router. It works perfectly on my Xbox. FIFA 22 works perfectly with no hick up's on my PS5. Listen, this game is unplayable on PS5 and I can't get my money back because it was purchased online. This needs to be sorted out by EA before the product hits the shelves. I've been buying NHL since 06 and besides 15 for new gens, this is the worst NHL game they've put out. EA needs to get their [profanity removed] together. I'm done with this thread.
