Community ManagerI would need a UO Trace to see if there are any issues. However, I have experienced ping spikes in EASHL. It happens once out of every 6 or 7 games. It happens to both teams as well. We just quit before the puck drops and find another match and it's fine. This is an issue the dev team is aware of, but I don't have any news on it. If you only have these occasional games with ping spikes, it's probably not worth troubleshooting, but if you lag or disconnect frequently when others aren't, especially in Online Versus or HUT, we should go through some testing.
@EA_Aljo What is a "UO Trace?" I don't play any other modes except EASHL, so I can't provide feedback there. It definitely happens to all players on both teams, it is NOT and individual thing.
Please don't be telling the developers "we just quit before the puck drops and it's fine." That is NOT the case at all. Last night for our league games, We quit 7 different times, trying different people as host and even resorting to using a non-league club to play a league game to see if that help resolve the problem. Were were eventually able to get a session with good ping, but for both league games we had to quit and try again 7 times in total.
This is not a difficult issue for the dev team to re-create. All they have to do is play the game. It won't be long before they find themselves in an awful-ping, high stuttering game.

I'm not saying it's fine. I'm telling you this has worked for my own club when we've experienced the same issue. It's not something that will be resolved today so the best thing to do for now is to quit and search again.
A UO Trace tests your connection to our servers. I don't think that's necessary for this issue though. Since it's only on EASHL and when it happens, everyone experiences it. I've had the same thing happen. Once out of every 6 or 7 games. That's just been my experience. I'm not saying that everyone has the same experience. The best I can tell you is that we're aware it happens, but I don't have any other suggestions at this time.
