We can't remove the PSN ID from the account because you haven't verified ownership. It's incredibly damaging to the account so we need to be sure we're talking with the account owner. 

I took a look at the accounts in question. I can't give out any details here, but I can see they've told you to go through account recovery to try to get access restored. The best I can tell you is to keep trying and provide more accurate information.

  • Sir, i have laid out why I cannot recover the account. If you can see the account information, you can see what is happening and yet you refuse to acknowledge the broken loop in which my account is stuck in. You see how long ago the account was created and you as an mod should know when these tightened security measures were implemented. Its tied to ultimate teams which my account predates.

    In order for me to verify that @easports account, I need access to that email because for whatever reason, your company is pretending that email has been verified in the past.

    I hope EA is paying you well to lie to your customers that they steal from. You know the account recovery process will not work for this issue and I have explained why. You made me find the answers to your companys backward policy. You see I have no ultimate team or anything of monetary value tied to the account. If security was such as concern that would be enough. EA has stolen 60 dollars from me and they are paying you to lie to me about how to fix it. No fix exists. I am only posting these for future people who may come back to ea games after years and run into this very issue.

  • That Would be true if my account was ever verified. Any account made since EA implemented their gross microtransactions are required to verify the email address. As in you create an account with an email, a verification email is sent to said email to verify the email belongs to the person who created it.

    As you can see. My account predates that practice. My account was never verified, it couldnt be, I don't nor have I ever had an account on @easports.com.

    Previously you were telling me that I was stuck. Then you told me to take my case to twitter or Facebook lol. Now you are saying I can do it using the account recovery process.

    This is an edge case. You know that the account recovery process will never work for me. I have been on the phone 4 times with this trying to figure out what happened. Now that I have a pretty strong grasp on how your comapny stole from me, you continue to insist I do a process you formerly acknowledged wont work.

    EA steals from its customers.

    This is not an edge case. It's a situation that is handled many times every day. It's very plainly stated in the article I linked. You have been told the same thing from multiple advisors.

    I asked you to contact Twitter/Facebook because we can't help with account issues here. They would be able to attempt to verify your account and direct you to the account recovery process if that couldn't happen. I was trying to give you all available options to speak with someone even though I repeatedly mentioned that the only way to resolve this is to go through account recovery.

    At this point, you've been given all the information you need to get this resolved. There's nothing else we can do for you through Answers HQ. I'm very sorry for the frustration. I can absolutely understand how upsetting this is, but we have a solution so long as you know the details that are being requested. Again, this has nothing to do with needing to verify your account as that process is specifically there for people in your situation that cannot verify the account.

  • That isnt what the account recover people are telling me. The fact that you are saying this happens all the time makes me very disappointed.

    Not very many users leave there account inactive for several years. You dont see that all the time. You know that. Stop lying.

    I realize you are at work and need to be careful with what you say. But your comapny has stolen 60 dollars from me. And you are wishing me luck. Take a look in the mirror sometime my dude.

    You said you can see the account details. You can see the last time this game got logged into. Prolly like 2012? 2013? Lol I will never be able to provide account details to something that long ago. You dont run into this issue all the time. The accounts you see all the time actually completed the two factor authentication. While my account is from so long ago. I have not. Bc it didnt exist yet.

    And since my account has never been verified using the authentication process. Your company requires that as a first step even after I prove I own the account. This is an edge case, why are you pretending otherwise?

    Tldr: I have completed the account recovery process successful, but i still need to complete the two factor authentication. Which is a prerequesite for account recovery. I cannot because my account is so old. Ignore the shill.

    I completed your suggestion, however your company requires first I verify the email address bc due to the accounts age it was never verified using 2 factor authentication. What am I supposed to do?

    I haven't removed any of your responses.

    We do not require you verify your account first when going through the account recovery process. That would be impossible as since you don't have access to the email on the account, you can't verify it. The account recovery process is specifically there for your situation.

  • One more time. I have completed this process you are suggesting. They still cannot grant me access to the account because the account was created before a user was required to verify their email. So my account creation has been sitting in an uncompleted state for years. I need to verify it, to let the advisor do what they need to do.

    Do you run into accounts from 10 years ago often? And how are they able to complete the account recovery process with unverified email addresses?

    They are not granting you access because you're not providing enough accurate information to recover it. I have seen the account. I know what's going on and yes, we come across old accounts like this frequently. They are in the same exact situation and need to go through the same exact process.

  • What do I have to do to show you this information is false. The @esports.com email address has never been verified. Ever. So before an account recovery process can do done I need to verify that email. How do i prove to you this is how it works. I cannot screen shot the phone conversations. I have provided you with a case number. Would any of thenothers show you what is happening.

    It seemed like you understood previously what was happening.

    I know it hasn't been verified. That's why you need to go through the account recovery process. I'm very well aware of our policies as I have discussed them many times daily for a long time. I'm not the only one giving you this information either. So far I can see 2 other advisors told you this. You're also welcome to contact an advisor through Twitter or Facebook to see if they will give you the same response.

  • hey been unable to link my account to my xbox one. I am able to login into origin but it just tells me the account is not linked with any systems please help

  • Yes i have followed still unable. Every time i login it still gives me the ea prompt to login to my ea account 

  • It doesn’t allow me to login right then and there it just says i need to login

    so i then went to my origin AND my ea account logged in did verification steps and still unable to play
