Review Terms & Crash

I don't think so, but I don't really know. Its a rented modem/router combo from our ISP that I don't have the login information for administrator access to the router.

You can probably contact your ISP to find out. That's about the only other suggestion I have, unfortunately.

I turned off the firewall and was unable to load NHL 22. Same crash as before.

Thanks for trying. I'm about out of ideas, unfortunately. Have you tried updating the firmware on the router? Also, you could try setting a static IP for your console. Other than that, I can't think of anything else.

So I made a new microsoft account and signed in on my console. Was able to load up NHL 22, set it up and it never crashed. Is my profile somehow corrupted. How do I fix that?

Try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 22. To do that, highlight the NHL 22 tile and hit the Menu button. It's the small one with 3 horizontal lines on it to the right of the Guide button. Then, go to Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. Delete the file with your gamertag on it. Let me know what happens.

I've done it before, but just did again and it resulted in the same crash.

Did you already try clearing the alternate MAC address? If not, here are those steps:

Go to your Xbox One Settings (Just press Start, then click Settings)
Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

Alt Mac address cleared but same crash.

You can try using alternate DNS settings, but I'm not optimistic that will work. From the Xbox One screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings). From there, enter the Primary DNS as "208.67.222.222" and the Secondary DNS as "208.67.220.220". If that doesn't help, try using the google DNS servers which are: primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.

Something else you can try is setting a static IP for your console. Some help with that can be found at www.portforward.com.

Also, do you happen to have your controller assigned to a gamertag?

Gamertag sent in PM. I just checked and previously my controller signed in no one. I've just added my profile to it just to see if it changes anything.

Thanks. I looked up your account and I'm not seeing any issues. I know this sounds odd, but could you try logging in at help.ea.com and then try again to see if you can accept the T&C without crashing?

As far as being signed into the controller goes, we've seen an issue where if you're signed in to a controller, it can cause issues with connecting. If you try this and it works, that would be pretty interesting.

Also, you mentioned the spinning loading circle in Madden not being there. Are you able to actually accept the T&C in Madden? If it doesn't come up, do you have any of our other games you can accept it in? If you're an Xbox Game Pass or EA Play subscriber, you could try downloading another game to see if they can be accepted.

Signed in with help.ea.com and no change in the game. Unless you meant I was supposed to accept the terms online. If that's the case I don't know where to do that. I turned off that controller/profile thing. I'm the only user of this console so there's no reason for it. I have to accept the terms in Madden twice for some reason, but it doesn't make the prompt go away on NHL. Installing a new game now. Will update when its done.

Thanks for the update. Did this start happening after you changed your gamertag or was it occurring before as well?

It was happening before. I changed my name on this site, not my gamertag. 

Downloaded the Sims 4 and accepted the terms there but still getting the prompt in NHL.

Sorry about that. I thought you had changed your gamertag and not your EA account name. Regardless, since it was happening before, that's probably not the issue.

I'm really sorry, but I've exhausted everything I can think of. Can you try contacting an advisor to see if they have any other suggestions? To do that, you can open a case with an advisor here. Also, you can try messaging @EAHelp through Twitter or go to facebook.com/eahelphub to contact our support through Facebook. If they get this resolved, please report back. I'd love to find out what's causing this.

So my NHL is still not working. Still getting the prompt to Review Terms and it still immediately crashes. The new development is that I setup another profile. Its able to load without being asked terms and I'm able to play.  As soon as I switch in game back to my regular account, I loose connection to the EA servers. Hopefully this gives you some insight to what might be wrong. I'd really like to have my original profile back as I've achieved first prestige already.

This is happening to me. Any developments on this issue?

I was able to sign into my EA account on my computer and accept the terms there. The reason this was  such a long, drawn out issue is that I have another EA account that I had forgot about with an email address I don't use anymore. Hope you're able to do the same and get back to gaming soon.
