Hello, @wadesworld.
I too have the occasional EASHL game, along with the rest of my team, that lags as you're saying. Thankfully, it's relatively uncommon and we can back out before the puck drops, search again and play just fine. This seems to be random and I can play several games at least without any issue. However, I get the frustration with this. Most likely it's due to the strain the internet is facing with so many more people on it these days. Especially since this just started within the last couple of months. So, the best I can do is go through troubleshooting. If that's something you want to do, let me know.

@EA_AljoWhile I appreciate the reply, I don't think there's anything to troubleshoot.
Again, your experience shows the problem is related to some server or infrastructure. If it were simply the increase in general Internet traffic, all games / servers / infrastructure would be affected.
The fact it only happens in some games is a clear indication that some server or piece of infrastructure is broken/degraded.- EA_Aljo6 years ago

@EA_AljoWhat would you troubleshoot? My 1 gig fiber Internet, hard-wired Xbox with typically a 20-30 ms connection to servers?

Stop blaming the internet. It's something on your end. No other game, nor streaming service, is lagging for me at all. Yet, for the past month, everybody I know that plays this game is seeing upwards of 1500ms ping and almost 10% packet loss every other game. I normally run 20-25ms ping. This issue seems most prevalent in EASHL drop ins, and it doesn't matter what time of day you play. If this unplayable lag happened only during primetime hours, then yes, could be network congestion. Please stop making excuses and have your engineers look into this massive problem that is going to start losing customers for your company!
