turn off the shootout feature after OT in online game play and just play hockey?

is there any possible way to turn off the shootout feature after OT in online game play and just play hockey????

playing 3 periods of hockey plus overtime to be decided by a lame shootout.. ugh

    There are certain modes with continuous OT. I believe Competitive Seasons and HUT Champions games are continuous, but Rivals, Squad Battles and Online Versus all have shootouts.     Hi there, @steelers585858.

    Unfortunately, not. I understand how you feel. I'm awful at goalie and have lost a number of games in shootouts because of it. The only way to change the rules for online play is to set up a custom game with a friend.
