AI defensive players do not play defensive at all, they are always up and get caught when change of possession. They do not step up when needed to close of offending player. The AI defenseman gets beat down the ice every time.

user players feel slower than quicksand. 

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PUT SOCK TAPE COLOR BACK IN THE GAME WHEN IN AN EASHL GAME!

Please remove the bubble on the net for goalies. Its making it so much more difficult to guard the posts and games always end up being high like 9 to 7. This is hockey. Games should be 5 goals at most scored on one side. Skaters complain that goalies do this and that and line sit but skaters are also getting new game breaking mechanics making it easier for them to score. On top of that goaltending get nerfed big time so now it's even easier for skaters. Idk balance it out a bit maybe?  

Game is poor, It's too easy to score, the game is too fast paced, everything feels clunky and clustered constantly. The ice feels small, the goalies feel poor. The movement is horrible doesn't feel like real skating at all and it all seems delayed.

Customisation is just annoying to experience. (The new running animations are a nice touch.) The hitting feels trash hip-checks are once again absolutely useless. (Seen a nice goalie recovery animation) you can still easily score left right left on AI goalies.

Player customisation: THE ENTIRE REASON FOR BE A PRO/CHEL IS ONCE AGAIN TRASH AND HAS BEEN SINCE 2014. I Fail to understand why you would remove and continue to leave out Legend 3 to this day it was a great innovation to the game and continues to be the most missed part of the game WE DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT want to play as ready made Trashy Pre-set players with very few heights and weights to choose from players with 3 possible traits!
Allow people to create and play with players the way they want to play. Make players have to earn the ability to rank there player up. If someone is trash at the game and can't reach Legend 3 then okay too bad that's reality in sports, some people just are not as good as others. The best players should be rewarded with legend 3 the fact of the matter is the highest you could really be on EASHL L3 was a 92 overall that's more than acceptable. (Playing 350 games while maintaining an overall grade of A- for those 350 games is easily achievable by absolutely everyone who plays the game. (Especially if they are as good as everyone makes themselves out to be) rant over about legend 3.

Stick checking is nice and should stay roughly the way it is well almost it needs to be cleaner and the game sharper when going for a poke check/stick lifts are also the same in this sense.

AI defence and goalies seem pretty much non-existent I just played a game and lost 9-5 scored a hat-trick and set up 2 and never once felt close to a come back or a win because our AI's were useless (this was the same no matter the setting we used.

(An ability to play as NHL teams (the jerseys I mean) like NHL 13 and 14 would be better too instead of the trash white and black kits on Chel drop in (also playing in real arenas in those jerseys would be better) EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THE GAME knows that Pro Clubs feels cleaner sharper and more fun to play than Chel. Glass smashing, hitting into benches, hitting off the glass/post at the side of the bench team collisions etc should all be back into the game please add it back in, The game also never feels like you're ever really in control of the puck. Everyone is still abusing the cut inside and tap l2 to get a trip or easily go by someone by completely changing momentum unrealistically.

I personally really like the new Chel menu its clean tidy and looks smart as well as being easy to use and navigate. I'm doing my best to try to point out good things as well as what clearly needs to be changed and fixed to make this the great game it once was.

(one personally for me) As someone who is British we do not use the same measurements as people in Europe do. I don't have a clue what height 186 cm is No one with a brain uses that system allow us to change our measurement and such in preferences. I want to use feet and inches for height and stones for weight or lbs ( I know North American's don't have this problem) so why should I.

Auto Back skate should never be on automatically every smart/good player turns it off.

Fighting needs revamped. Make it more like IDK fight night or UFC whatever you have 2 fighting games use those controls you're controls are trash and stupid.

OH I also like the new free skate when you're making your new builds that's smart but also still L3 should be in the game. Which would make the feature even better.

The fact you finally added Practice mode for teams in Pro Clubs is great and Finally a good welcomed RE-introduction that should have been done a long time ago tbh it never should have been took out

Add communities and Lobbies again. 

Okay not sure what else to add thanks for reading anyone who did and also let me know what you think ( don't bother arguing with me about legend 3 because your wrong and you literally couldn't give me a single reason otherwise)

I had an annoyingly bright yellow box pop up in the lower left corner for my screen. It had white writing. There was no way to read that with the way the colors blended 

Why does CHEL only have the 1 rink, with the same two teams, and the menus look almost exactly the same? The end of game screens look nearly identical other than a couple colors and font. Big dealbreaker.  Even in between periods is the same overall geaphic layout with different colors and fonts. Real lame.

Passing feels off. Seems to go away from where I aim. When I try to fake my body up, but pass to my D partner on the right, it throws the puck way behind him.

The almost Call Of Duty white fog in shadows is 1, kind of lame and 2, it doesn't blend well. Loots extremely polygonal, terrible blending

I'm working to gain access, as I downloaded the alpha on my brother's gamertag.

That said, I do find the menus to be slow to load. This has been an issue for several years and is a gripe that I have heard from everyone I have discussed the games with. It prevents quick transitions from one mode to another. Loading into the player customization menu took 14 seconds. 

The physics engine can also be a bit clunky. In Pro-Am, I drilled Texier into the boards, but my player ended up falling as well, Texier ended up on top of him in what looked like a glitched animation and essentially held my player down until Texier covered and started skating away, at which point my player started to get up.

Coming out of the Pro-Am challenges, there was also some crazy movements from the character animation.

I also did not see an option too adjust difficulty. While I'm sure this isn't an issue in the full game, I wanted to play on the various difficulties as there can sometimes be a disproportionate jump in skill level.

Playing defense in this game gotta be the most unrewarding position. Stick lift connects, opponent still has the puck, get another “successful” stick left, opponent still has the puck, well ok poke check him I guess, gets a successful poke check, wow! The opponent still has the puck and your poke check passed it to another player on his team! It’s so frustrating. 

I need help.  I got my code and entered it for Xbox One.  I cant find it anywhere and I cant access the forums either.  Checked my xbox account and it shows as redeemed.  I'm lost as i can't do anything.  Help please.  Thanks.

I have personally enjoyed everything about the NHL 21 beta, so far. Aside from the bugs of course. However, I wanted to know whether we will be getting separate Player/Goalie rankings in NHL 21. You have introduced the new RP and 6 tier system, however, in NHL 20, our goalie in drop-in and club would have a separate CR than our player. I think that is much better, not the CR part, but having a separate ranking, because that allows people to not worry about maintaining their player rank. I hope this is still the case in NHL 21.
