I totally agree with most of you in this thread.
Why limit us in a offline mode against AI???
It´s not because frostbite engine, because it was the same in NHL 21.
Are we talking realism? A player comes to NHL and cant change his role in a team? Never in NHL have players learned a new role so they actually can make the team?.... hmmm
And yes, the generated players.... the attributes is mostly strange on some of them, and changing position or role to suit the players attributes is what good coaches do in IRL... I know,
because I been a coach for years. 🙂
But also, not be able to change the look of them... just the beard? Its my offline save, let me have the fun I want to have to be able to enjoy the game even more.
I know that in NHL 20 lots of people used the system to change roles to get better line chemistry, but it´s still offline mode. If it had been online connected GM mode, i understand why
not everyone could change that except the league commissioner.
So open up the edit system, please EA!! (If you need a hint, take a look at NBA2K, they are the leaders in offline edit systems and gets a lots of credits for that from the gaming community) 😉
