World of CHEL Error
Hello, I have been having this issue since the game was released. Every time I try to load World of Chel I recieve an Error screen that states failed to retrieve data. I have been on the phone with...
When I first bought the game World of CHEL worked perfectly. For the last five days it gives this error every single time and it's very frustrating! I hope they patch this.
Thank you for hanging in there with us on this. The NHL team just released a new patch and provided this response in the following thread:
"We are still investigating into what is causing Dressing Room errors for EASHL. We are still working on it and are trying find out what the exact cause is in order to solve it. We appreciate your patience as we work to address the issue."

The patch installed for me, but I still have the same error. I’m assuming this just dealt with the locker room bug and not my problem, which is when I open World of CHEL from the menu it starts to load and Check and then says “failed to retrieve data please try again later”
☹️. I had almost not purchased this year’s edition but the online chel had made it worth it and now that is gone...
still hoping for another patch please
The patch did nothing to help any of the original post. EA and Sony are both trash for letting this go on so long.
Original post sounds a lot like my struggle with Skyrim on both PS3 and PS4.. oh what a cluster that was.
Anyway, most of these problems should have been fixed by now. Modes like ONES and EASHL 6's are definitely slowing down but I've noticed much more stability to my matches, and even if you can't find a match it will just give you the option to start again instead of blasting you back to the main menu.
Are there other people downloading or using netflix etc when you try to play? Also, I don't think Sony has anything to do with the problems you were having; they'd mainly be in charge of greenlighting patches and keeping PSN afloat for online access
No update. Tried playing again and still get the same error when joking World of CHEL
I have the same issue and tried launching world of chel with my friends account, who I game share with, on my account and it worked. I've been talking with ea help who said its and issue with my account not the game and to talk to xbox support. After talking with xbox support they told me its definitely the game and to go back to EA help. My friend is fine with me using his account to play it however I paid over 100$ for the game and close to 700$ for an xbox x so I feel like I'm not asking to much to be able to play on my account.
Your patched is not working... you better erase the whole game and make it again
