Worst connection in a game ever!!!

What can I say the title hasn't ? The games used to be good (never perfect cus nothing is) but the company just don't care anymore and it's apparent. So tell me why as customers we should care when y'all clearly don't? I know and bet theres developers who love and care for what they do, but that doesn't make up for the fact that EA puts a budget and time crunch on them which clearly they can't meet to its full extent because year after year (on ps4 - its only the 'newer' 'more powerful' hardware your games sucks - and its because THEY NEED RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT! Now I know EA will say "but we DID research and development"... Well clearly not enough as theres game physics that jus dont make sense like players tripping over nothing (and it being a penalty btw) to monster like contorting of the limbs to the puck going threw the boards to AI holding there position instead of picking up the puck despite being closest man too said puck. The games a mess, but y'all release it mid-September ever year regardless to if its ready or not. EA, I woulndt mind if there was no NHL 18 with promise of 19 being better in the sense that you actually program the game instead of rushing it to development and leaving us with a abysmal game. Btw the servers for the game suck as well. I have a wired connection that Destiny, DC Universe Online, Payday 2, NBA 2k15 and many more game online runs fine every single time. NHL 17 ? About every other game I play I show a medium connection and the game lags. Please explain to me why I'm able to be in a lobby of 25+ other people with the game running smoothly (destiny and DCUO) but yet NHL 17 between 2 of us (hut online) theres lag spikes ?

I get so enraged that you'r company as a whole doesnt respond. My posts never used to be from anger, but ignoring the problem will only create fury EA, nd y'all better wake up

Ok your really missing the point here. If other games can run with 25 people fine (and I mean single player online only games where 25+ people are on my screen at once and the game doesnt even slow down) and your game struggles when its 2,.. Theres an issue on EA's end, not mine, and i dont care to look into "ideal connections" because thats what the game should have... Like my PS4 is threw a wired connection to a modem (idk which modem or anything but we never have connection issues with even the wifi). I honestly don't know how the connection gets better then that and feel it extremely unnecessary to tweak any ps4 internet settings just for your game and switch it back for EVERY other game

With all do respect, this page just seems to rebound criticisms right back at whoever posted. In this case I complain about connectivity (whilst I know better then to come write a essay on your page if my internet is down) and you give me "connection tips". Dude every other game runs fine multiplayer, NHL 17 is the only one that doesn't and you still have the audacity to assume that its my connection as to why the game is running so poorly. Thats a insulting response to be quite frank as in the original post and this response I've stated other games online run fine, its only NHL 17.

But I digress as the online lag is one of the least of my worries with this game, I only really need it lately because y'all push out online hut tournys for prizes = cool. When playing those games is a chore because every other game is laggy from connectivity = not cool.

Sorry if you felt my response was insulting, it was certainly not meant that way.

When playing online there are three entities involved: you, your opponent and us. The only one of these you have any control over is your own connection so that is why I posted those steps so you can do what you can to make sure you are not the weak link in the chain.

I thank you for your response. Its been a extremely frustrating year for this game / series for me tho. There are MANY single player (offline / single player season in hut) bugs and glitches and any attempt made to voice these issues has fallen on deaf ears or I've been given a response such as "If I'm loosing games i need to change the way I play" directing the issues back on me and others as I've seen. Theres a infamous one now, where you body check a player and are unable to pick the puck up after (offline only once again) and I've seen your reps get people to post the video countless times from countless users but the problem still isn't either fixed, or atleast us being told "were gonna do everything we can to fix it". As I said being ignored by the company of a product you love is just very angering and boils over after awhile of going unnoticed.

Fyi most of these issues that have fallen on deaf ears / videos being posted have all been on the facebook EA page. If the page doesnt actually have a connection to fixing / working out issues yall should def look into some of the issues posted that just go ignored or mis-placed daily

multiplayer games connect you to a server.....

Hut/Vs are peer to peer.....you and /or your opponent affect the connection.

multiplayer is IPV6

hut/vs are IPV4

some seem to be having issue in competitive seasons in hut which is peer to peer and IPV4.

Who is your IP provider?What router do you use?wired?wireless?
