Wrong Player Names (Custom Name) Apear While Playing Online

I had this same problem in the previous NHL as well, where while I'm online players name when displayed during Assists, Goals, Hits, Highlights, etc. do not come in as their custom names. The custom ...

I am having the SAME problem - you customize your player and name the player (Whatever) - last name does not appear in online play (Drop in Games) - the player you choose to be (RW, LW, C...Ect) Displays a Different random name other than the one you customized.

Why is this?
