X and B Buttons won't work in hybrid mode

I'm not entirely sure. Some controllers offer wireless updating. Otherwise, you'll need to plug yours into your Xbox One to update it.

What kind of controller are you using? Also, did you try plugging it in?

So I have the same issue in NHL 24 on Xbox. X and B doesn’t work in hybrid mode so it’s not possible to shoot. What is going on??

Have you tried using a different controller? Also, doublecheck to make sure Hybrid is select from the controller settings screen.

Thanks for replying. What do you mean from the controller setting? Different setting than just going to the game’s setting and selecting hybrid? 

I have tried two different controllers, will try a third later today. I managed to shoot a couple of times but feel like it’s really random when it works. It works flawlessly in training mode so its only when playing a game I feel its not working properly.

You should be able to select this from either screen, but it would be good to go into the controller settings to make sure Hybrid is selected. We're not getting other reports that shooting isn't working. Which button are you trying to use to shoot?
