Heywhat are the odds of pulling different players in XFactor choice packs?specifically McDavid?I use all my seasonal collectibles to buy XFactor choice packs (pretty much two packs per week with the weekly challenges, daily objectives and rewards, and hut rush) and buy the monthly one with 20 golds.Never seen him or Mackinnon or Rantanen all year long… I really want McDavid. What are the odds, what are my chances?Don’t tell me to buy him on the market, there’s almost never one for sale and he’s 300k+ when he is on sale. I’m F2P, I got time but limited ressources.

And some bad. 😛He does cater too much to the competitive scene and top end players and I’ve called him out on that.And I find that his idea that if you just play and lose you shouldn’t have rewards is a bad idea. It’s part of the problem, not the solution. It makes people play to win, it’s an incentive to use the matchmaking glitch to accumulate points more and faster. I agree that rewards should be higher if you win but you should get some just for playing. Otherwise, why would I try to play against other good players or even better players than me? I don’t care if I will improve even if I lose, I won’t get rewards. Same in Squad Battles. 0 points if I lose. Max point if I win by 5 goals and get at least 20 shots. Why would I try playing against a better AI? Ill go for a guaranteed win for less points. At least I’ll get something. I follow HUT content creators (4-5 of them) and participate in the forum here. I make this game alive and regularly propose ideas and analysis of the game to improve player experience. What are my rewards? Div 8 gold rewards in Rivals, Elite 1 rewards in SB. I don’t even get a single purple every week. I can’t make a maxed up MSP in every event, I maxed out only maybe three MSPs and two XFactors. Never pulled an MSP from a pack. I often just get a bunch of gold players and end up making PUCs. So my weekly reward is often just +OVR on XFactors. Period. Other players pull 6-15 purples a week. There’s not much incentive for me to keep grinding and participating in the game’s community.

Listening to Ep 31 of Coffee & Chel and they discuss X-factors early on. I like the idea of introducing new X-factors during the season but don't think there should be fewer of them at the drop. There should actually be more at the drop and incentivise making a proper prediction on a player to start the season. It shouldn't be either Pettersson or Kreider at the drop but both and let one fizzle out and the other blow up. I expected a lot out of the Island this season and bet on Barzal with his Seattle ties to have a big season. I bet wrong but that doesn't mean Matty & Elias shouldn't be repping their clubs as X-factors or those clubs are not deserving of any. Every club should have at least one X-factor to start and let the season play out and if it goes well they'll upgrade and if not then they won't.No skin lost.*now back to the show....*

The general rule is that the odds are lower the higher the player card is rated.
I've rolled 6 X-factor Choice packs through the different sets and never had McDavid pop-up.
Same with Icons, no Great, Super or Howe so I bought my guys in the house.

Packs have odds in % and you can click on them in the store to see these odds. Not XFactor packs.

I didn’t do 6 XFactor packs, I did around 15-18.

@Jeff_frm_Edmonds You clearly don’t understand what I’m asking… I’m asking for the % odds to get McDavid in XFactor choice packs. Unless you work at EA, I think it’s unlikely that you have this information.

I'm sure someone on the team has a list of specific odds but I sort of doubt any of them will publicly release the numbers. That said, I can guarantee the chances of you getting McDavid specifically are low

And these are only the ones I took in the choice packs, as I’ve seen others pass by in my packs and never took them like Barzal, Kopitar, etc.
Not a single McDavid. And he’s almost never on the market. And when he is he goes for 200k+. Why do you make him impossible to get? XFactors we’re great. A lot of people will say that now they’re bad or useless or too expensive but I still improve them, makes all my low level gold players that I grind for kind of worth it when I can trade in Pasta of his TOTS… but I can’t get the ONLY player I actually wanted. Why are the odds so against us? Why does EA make the good cards not just rare, but SUPER rare and hard to get?

I'm pretty much an exclusive HUT player and don't get over to WoC. I don't think I even went over to open my pre-order content.
