You have entered an invalid character

Product: NHL 17
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Summarize your bug: I am unable to put a space in my Last Name when creating a player. The option to do so appears and there are players with spaces such as St. Louis. This may be the same problem I am having with Naming my custom team, which will throw the same error when I try to use a special character.
How often does the bug occur?: Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: Go to Customize -> Create a player. in details try and add a Last Name or First Name
What happens when the bug occurs?: It has the following error: You have entered an invalid character, please try again.
What do you expect to see?: I expect it to allow the creation of names with spaces.
