    Yes, Xbox users do need an active XBL Gold subscription to play online.

It sounds like possibly some action was taken on your Xbox account. Have you talked to Microsoft support to see if they have any information on this? It's also possible you don't have multiplayer play enabled. Do you happen to have a child account? That possibly could cause this as well.

I face the same issue now. Rdr2 online is fine, but fight night in head to head i have - "Your Gamer Profile does not have the correct permissions to access the feature". Gj Microsoft
