@toots2184 The EA Desktop App doesn't have an offline mode yet. The app is still in beta, and we're hopeful that it'll support offline play in its full release. In the interim, you can still play offline in Origin.
Hundreds of dollars spent on a game I can no longer play. No internet to download orgins again...
Thank you for your help. At least some one cares. EA obviously doesn't.
@toots2184 I'm sorry this setup isn't working for you. Is it possible to temporarily use your phone as a mobile hotspot to download and install Origin? The Origin download itself isn't that large, and you'd only need to login while online once, and probably launch the game once, before you could go back offline permanently.
I only have an Ethernet port, so unfortunately, no. I thought about that too. 😞
