Clive Barker's Undying - Re-Release?
After talking with an EA employee, I have been directed here to post about a possible re-release of this vastly underrated game.
Undying got poor sales due to its release timing, but reviews have constantly been high; even after fifteen-plus years post-release, the game is held in high regards. Originally posed for a PS2 port, it was cancelled and the project fell after initial sales. With things like Kickstarter and crowdfunding, what prevents EA from pooling funds from the thousands of Undying fans that have petitioned and wished for a remaster/re-release? It would no doubt get great sales for console ports, as several other PC exports have seen, and Origin/GOG provides a great market to run the program.
I'd pay well over a hundred to see the game hit PS4 or even just get an HD revamp, as would many others; give players the option/chance to see this game get its second chance it ever so deserves! 😭
