EA app wont install

my EA app isn't installing at all! takes an hour for it to get to a little bit and then doesn't move at all! I’ve tried working the installer as Administrator and putting the installer in a folder by itself in the program files in the C folder of my computer, doesn’t work. i run a Windows 7 64-bit 🙂

Hey @0ekb3r78d6pr do you see an error message of any kind?

These kind of issues are generally system related so it's a case of needing to troubleshoot on your end.

  • hello! no i did not see any errors,it just stops installing after a certain point

  • hi! i tried installing it again and made it administrator, and waited until a 3/4 was occupied, then it showed me

    “Something went wrong…

The EA app encountered an error and couldn’t finish installing”

The forced Origin to EA App does NOT work.

I am having the exact same issue on different PCs and Laptops, all otherwise fully working and operational, with absolutely no other issues.

This has rendered access to paid-for Content impossible, because now unable to use Origin.

The EA staff on this Forum are not listening, and seem to be just playing for time.

EA needs to expedite a fix for this, or at least stop the forced EA Upgrade from appearing in the Origin screen, until this major bug is fixed.

It also sounds like people who have managed to upgrade, are having issues with the EA App, suggesting it is not ready for prime time, and needs to be withdrawn until it is.
