I have been trying to buy a Sims 4 pack.I have bought before using the same card I have bought other packs with previously with no issues. Today I tried to buy The Sims 4 Vampire pack, multiple times I have tried to use the same card, with all the correct info to a message from EA telling me 'error ref. #54001.'I only found one post on EA, posted in 2018, of someone talking of the same issue, EA_Barry responded to said post with potential solutions that unfortunately didn't help me.dose anyone else have this issue?or are there more recent suggestions the EA team has for me? PERSONAL SUGGESTION: DON'T BUY ON EA, GO TRY ORIGIN WEB-BROWSER.

I think I've been having same kind of problems and I think it's origin or/and game that is lagging. I tried seven times buy bundle and with two different cards (only one used before) but nothing. Payment progress is fine until origin starts "processing payment" and then it never goes on after that. But problem is not with my card or bank. Tried to get help from ea several times but they stopped answering.

I appreciate your suggestion, unfortunately that did not work for me. I've been in chat with the EA Help twitter teams and they don't seem to know how to solve this either. They are also refusing to transfer my games to my secondary account (which works fine btw).

I have been trying to fix this error code for my account for years... its EA's software that is the problem. I have a back up account that never gets the error code, I have to gift games to my main account.

I was reffered to the EA Help twitter account and facebook page to see if someone who works on those teams can solve the error code... nothing yet.

After a lot of communication with EA Help Twitter, I am being told I can do an account merger/transfer of games? I will update if it works.

They told me they merged and transfered my games to my new account, but they did not.
