How to measure employee productivity while working remotely?

How to measure employee productivity in remote work conditions? Hello! I want to ask a question if anyone here is a manager, please, help. We process tickets from our customers, and every agent has a quota of tickets to process each day. If we see that he or she starts processing more tickets, we update their quota. We started working remotely, and we noticed that some of our employees had the same results, even though 2 months had passed. Obviously, they 're not working the whole day, but they're just doing their part for the day. Do you have any suggestions on how to deal with this situation?

  • Lol,

Firstly, you noticed employees were hitting the agreed quota and then decided to increase the work required from them?

Secondly, you're asking how to manage employees/do your job on a gaming forum?!!!....after 2 months?!!!

Something tells me you're working from home and gaming instead, you've taken your eye off the ball communicating with the teams, holding virtual/tele meetings and keeping a record or time in motion study of your employees.

ICT will be able to monitor their activity online, if you have a good tech guy they will check sign on/log off times.

If you have tickets that are being seen to, then you as a manager should be deep diving into individuals electronic workload and evaluating the timings of the tickets that are closed. You can work out an average time to deal with tickets and then go from there to forecast an average quota.

Likelihood is that with staff not being in the office they are being more efficient, getting their work done and logging off for the day. You forget that in an office environment about 50% of the time is spent with people chatting, procrastinating and wasting time in teams. They will be working at home to get this done so they can enjoy the rest of the day.

Finally, if it's Sims 4 - there are some ideas for Sims 5 - micro manage your Sim 😛
