List Of Classic EA Games We Need Back On Origin/EA Desktop App

My friend on origin plays Battlefield 1942 via Origin ... But when I search for Battlefield 1942 It does not show, so I am unable to install and play ... Hope you can help

As far as I know Battlefield 1942 was delisted (I think because the multiplayer went offline but I don't know). So sadly you won't be able to get the game for any digital platform anymore. If you got an official retail copy of the game you may be able to get the game activated on origin through the EA support.

That's why I requested so many old titles in the first place as you can see above. I don't know if EA will ever bring them to their platform again  but if you really want the game like so many others EA games not there on the Origin your best bet is get them from Amazon.in or Amazon.com which is not cheap at all. But this is the best way or try any trusted ecommerce website that you know of and see if they stock old EA games.

But Battlefield should activate on Origin if you do get the legit DVD game if not do not worry it'll play as it is through the Disc itself as so many other games.

I am a huge EA fan myself but expired licenses of old games is mainly why they are removed from Origin.

    @johnny1xx1 I've seen all of the older Battlefield games on that well known ecommerce site (sometimes for peanuts). Though I suspect the really cheap ones will be scatched to **** . My very first Battlefield 2 disk was in and out of the DVD player virtually every day for he first year (before I discovered NoCD patches) that it became cracked from the centre outwards right into the actual data. Unbelievably it still worked the last time I used it, but I then happened upon a second hand copy from a charity shop and bought that before finally getting the deluxe version that included the Special Forces expansion, and later the Steam version and I even got it on Origin, but I think that may have been via the activation code I had on the special edition (can't remember)
