As far as I know Battlefield 1942 was delisted (I think because the multiplayer went offline but I don't know). So sadly you won't be able to get the game for any digital platform anymore. If you got an official retail copy of the game you may be able to get the game activated on origin through the EA support.
That's why I requested so many old titles in the first place as you can see above. I don't know if EA will ever bring them to their platform again but if you really want the game like so many others EA games not there on the Origin your best bet is get them from Amazon.in or Amazon.com which is not cheap at all. But this is the best way or try any trusted ecommerce website that you know of and see if they stock old EA games.
But Battlefield should activate on Origin if you do get the legit DVD game if not do not worry it'll play as it is through the Disc itself as so many other games.

I am a huge EA fan myself but expired licenses of old games is mainly why they are removed from Origin.
