My origin won't open and I don't know what to do.

For contact I have a MacBook Air Mojave version 10.14.6.

Every time I try to open Origin to play the sims it gets stuck on the small rectangle loading screen. I've tried to download the restarter, but when I go to click on the link from an EA help page it says "Access denied". I've cleared my browser cache and restarted my laptop, Ive tried to repair it, and force quit. But  I can't update my laptop because I don't have enough storage. nor can I download the EA app. Im currently trying to get an actual gaming laptop. But even if I do I don't know how to access my packs and stuff and switch it over to my new laptop, or onto the EA app. I don't wanna lose them and have it be a waste of time and money someone please help me.
