I'm trying to download Origin, and it says "Looks like your computer is running a operating system we no longer support, but you can still download and play your games using an older version of Origin." However my Mac is up to date with all updates and is running on mac OS Big Sur 11.0.1
I uninstalled everything because Sims 4 was running slow and a bit glitchy. So now that I want to install this issue came to place. So I'm wondering does Origin support mac OS Big Sur 11.0.1? If not is this the reason Sims 4 has been running so slow?

@ma552035 Origin does in fact run fine in Big Sur. The error you're seeing only happens in a couple of browsers, including Chrome, so try downloading through Safari or Firefox instead.
If Sims 4 is running slow for you, it's best to ask for help in the Sims 4 Mac section.

- 5 years ago@puzzlezaddict i've tried on safari and chrome. It always has two origin icons pop up on my dock board and when sims finally opens, it immediately pops up with an error message and the application shuts down. I've been trying to fix it for like 4 hours so far ! Someone pls help. I'm using a 2020 macbook pro (m1 chip) with big sur 11.0.1

@francescaskiip Try doing a clean uninstall of Origin, then downloading and installing a new copy.

If that doesn't work, please post a screenshot of the error you see.
