Re: 2 accounts on different platforms can’t play at same time

Sorry to say @VaneRaze02 but there is nothing that we can do in relation to this.

Only one EA account can access FIFA 23 at one time, if you have multiple Gamertags linked to the same account and wish to use them at the same time then you will need to unlink one.

Hey @TomDonkeyUK only on EA account can be in game at the once, if you have linked multiple accounts belongin to other people for various platforms to your EA account then I'd recommend looking into unlinking any which are not yours.

  • From what i read if you unlink the accounts you lose progress, IE ultimate team. i own both the PS5 and PC so I'm allowing my brother to play on my ps5 on my account thats why the emails the same, but its two separate platforms and two separate game licenses make zero sense to even exist as a problem, especially PS to PC. seems to me like once you buy a game on an email we should be able to access it from any device since its acting like its one license email i should get acess to games on other platforms as long as i acess the same email. but i have to buy multiple games on multiple platforms then essentially delete progress and make a second account so i can play a game i already purchased again.

something they really should look into.  (not saying you can do anything about it) just another of many mistakes from EA as a publisher.

Hey @TomDonkeyUK it's true that you will lose all progress, unlocks, etc when unlinking.

While they may be separate platforms it's still the same EA account and am EA account cannot be in-game on FIFA 23 on multiple platforms at the same time.

This is working as intended and not something likely to change.

Also each user should have their own EA account, if your brother is playing it's best he is on his own account linked to his own EA account.

so what would be the best way to seperate the accounts, atm i play fifa 23 on ps5 with my account that has all other accounts linked to
however, if i want to buy ea play pro on pc for a year, i would need to seperate my accounts, what happens to data from the accounts, like friend lists from last years? ...

If you unlink an account @bradom you will lose all progress on that account and it is not possible to restore it or transfer it.

Hey @topsupergizmo there can be reasons why you are unable to unlink.

What does it show when you go to unlink?
