I've bought an EA Play subscription on Steam, then linked to my Origin account.
So these accounts now work as 1. After this I find out I have to buy the exact same service for the same linked accounts again?

That's too bad,. Guess I will have to wait till my annual origin subscription expires to renew\purchase on steam, and won't prepurchase SW Squadron now (no %10 discount). Not that i have much against origin, its just my library is almost completely on steam. I kinda understand for monthly, (it's only 30 days) but with an annual?

I bought an EA Play subscription on steam, 30 BUCKS for less than half the games I expected simply because I bought the subscription through steam. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You might want to put a big flashing warning for people to buy it form Origin OR ELSE...I see that people here are frustrated for more than one reason. Interesting - I thought PC was the platform - Steam is just a marketplace as is origin. This is not cross platform. We would still be playing PC to PC
Two out of five of the "AAA" games that I have played through EA Play wouldn't even launch, even after hours of jumping through hoops trying to salvage the money I paid for this pathetic subscription. Absolutely disgusted.

This is ridiculous. Me and my friends are all on Pc and we cant play together because they purchased on steam and I have the play pass? I cannot WAIT for this to expire. Never again will I buy an EA title if its not on steam. I want to play video games with my friends and you wont allow it as you are money hungry people. Shame on you all

I bought a yearly sub some months ago and now I am penalized because I did it on origin (because it was the only option at the the time for the pc) and did not wait for it to be available on steam (as if I could have guessed that it would happen someday), really?
Does EA know the message this passes? "Don't buy things on origin, because they may someday be available in another PC platform that you like more".
Really? Why? Make no sense.
