Re: How do i change my spending limit if im a tae

Hey @Micah0624math you can find all the info related to this here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/origin/origin/origin-player-controls/

CONTROL SPENDING

There are two different limits that you can adjust for you or your teen’s accounts:

  • Game and expansion limit - Includes base game and deluxe edition purchases, expansion packs, and additional downloadable content (DLC).
  • Microcontent limit - Includes virtual currency purchases and other purchasable content.

To change an adult account’s spending limit:

  1. Go to origin.com.
  2. Hover over your EA ID in the bottom corner and click on EA Account and Billing.
  3. Click on Player Controls.
  4. Click Edit next to Spend Limits.

As of September 25, 2020, the new default spend limit for teen accounts is $0.

  • If you create a new teen account after this date, it will automatically have a $0 default. Link the teen account to a Household to change the default spending limit.
  • If you already have a teen account set up for yourself or someone in your family, the default will change to $0 if the account hasn’t had a default amount other than $25 set
